Iain has had more than 25 years experience of service for rotating equipment in the Power Generation, Oil & Gas and Industrial Markets. Iain Lister's career before joining Greenray in early 2007 was with ALSTOM, working for over 17 years in various technical and managerial roles involved with electrical rotating machinery in the power generation, oil & gas and industrial sectors. Iain's role immediately prior to joining Greenray was the Director of Service for the Stafford Facility. Iain joined Greenray in 2007, and led the Greenray Energy Businesses as Managing Director of the Energy Division until 2012, when Iain acquired the business and became Chief Executive. During this time, Greenray has developed an ever increasing range of services and skills that are provided to our customers today.
Iain Graduated with an Honours Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from Aston University and has undertaken additional study at Kings College London in Contract Law and Dispute Resolution.
Recent success for Iain includes winning the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2015 International category in the Midlands region.
Norman started his career as an Electrical Engineer and has worked for Babcock and Costain Engineering Ltd. He moved onto Divisional Managing Director for Mowlem Plc and was responsible for the Mowlem Engineering Division, comprising of 8 businesses and 1000 employees. Following this, Norman became Group Managing Director for Beck and Polizter, having projects in over 65 Countries worldwide. In particular operating in the oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries. Norman previously worked for Shepherd Group Engineering, where he was Interim Managing Director of Portastor business dealing with a large gas plant project for Petrofac/Total Oil and Sullom-Voe in the Shetlands.
Presently as COO of Greenray, Norman is responsible for all business functions and operational activities of the company; consisting of engineering, procurement, projects and service. Norman also sits on the main Board of Directors.
Alison began her career working in accounting practice before making the move to industry. She holds over 16 years' experience working in engineering businesses at all levels of the finance function.
Alison joined the Greenray Group in 2003 prior to which she was Company Accountant for WINBRO Group Technologies Ltd. During her time at Greenray she has attained an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting and continues her professional development.
Alison is responsible for the entire finance function, including liasing with banks, insurers and external auditors. As well as her responsibilities as Finance Director Alison is also Company Secretary for the Group and is therefore also responsible for all Company Secretarial matters.
Steve Elders started his engineering career with Rolls-Royce as part of a successful application to read Mechanical Engineering at Bradford University. Following a further period of study for an MSc. at Salford, he joined Ruston Gas Turbines as a Design Engineer specializing in aerodynamics. Various projects led to being part of the team for the Tornado gas turbine, where he was responsible for an advanced power turbine and various aspects of the compressor design. The engine design won the Royal Academy of Engineering MacRobert Award in 1983 and is still manufactured today, as the SGT200 by Siemens, with over 500 sold.
Transferring to installation and service activities in 1980 took Steve to customers and site locations all over the world, culminating in five years residency in Singapore as the Service Manager (S.E Asia).He joined Greenray Turbines (Lincoln) Ltd in 1999 as Service Manager where he established a service organization to support GEC gas turbines. He was appointed Engineering Director in 2010. Steve joined the IMechE whilst a student, gaining Membership in 1980 and Fellowship in 2010.
Keith Woolhouse was a founder member of the Greenray Group and has led it's technical development over almost 3 decades. He has been deeply involved in all new business development and holds ultimate technical authority for all aspects of the Group's business activities. He has also been responsible for the development of the Group's IT systems and infrastructure and for Quality Assurance.
Before joining Greenray, he had a career in the gas turbine supply industry, initially with Ruston Gas Turbines Limited and later with GEC Gas Turbines Limited. His experience has included roles in both engineering and project management on projects such as the UK Gas Distribution Network and Offshore Module Fabrication and Commissioning for the BP Fortes field in the North Sea. He graduated with an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nottingham University.
Anita Paulie started her career with the Greenray Group in 1989. Anita has more than 25 years' experience in managing Documentary Letters of Credit and has ultimate responsibility for the Commercial and Export team. Anita has a degree in International Trade with the Institute of Export and leads the business in delivering commercial support, ensuring all contract decisions, including assessment of the relevant commercial risks are made and managed effectively. She is also responsible for sales coordination and the review of T&C's for business tenders for the Greenray group.
